Yes. We walk through Shopify Markets, shipping zones, checkout configuration, and help brands think through what to charge or subsidize.
Do I need a foreign warehouse?
No. The concept is built around shipping DDP direct to the customer door from the U.S. once your inventory and approvals are in place.
Can pick + pack pricing improve as we grow?
Yes. As volume increases, brands can qualify for better first-pick pricing, with bundle pricing available.
What is DDP shipping and how is it different from DAP or DDU?
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means duties, import taxes and clearance fees are calculated at checkout and paid before the parcel ships, so your customer receives the order with nothing to pay at the door. With DAP or DDU the carrier bills the customer for duties on delivery, which leads to refused parcels, chargebacks and bad reviews. Uptime ships international ecommerce orders DDP from our U.S. warehouses.
Which countries can Uptime ship to DDP?
The Expansion Pack launches DDP shipping to Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand - the four largest English-speaking ecommerce markets for U.S. brands. Orders ship from Uptime's fulfillment centers in Draper, Utah and Miami Lakes, Florida.
How long does international DDP delivery take?
Average transit times from Uptime's warehouses are 4.7 days to Canada, 4.8 days to the United Kingdom, 7.2 days to Australia and 7.3 days to New Zealand, delivered duties paid to the customer's door.
How fast can we start shipping internationally?
Most brands are live within about a week of setup. Uptime reviews your products for each destination, handles customs approvals, configures the DDP shipping lanes and walks your team through Shopify Markets before the first order ships.
How do international shipping rates work?
Rates start from a base DDP rate for each destination and package weight, and the Expansion Pack rate plans buy that base down by 3%, 6% or 9% as your monthly volume grows. Use the rate builder on this page to see example rates for a package of your weight.
Can supplements, cosmetics and other regulated products ship DDP?
Usually, yes, after product review. Supplements, cosmetics, food and other regulated categories have destination-specific labeling and ingredient rules, so Uptime's customs and compliance review checks each SKU against the destination's requirements before launch and tells you what can ship as-is and what needs a change.
Do I need Shopify to use the Expansion Pack?
No. Shopify Markets is the most common setup and the walkthrough covers it in detail, but Uptime also fulfills international orders from TikTok Shop, Amazon, WooCommerce and other platforms through native integrations.
